Welcome to our new Blogger. Blogging and Tyre Trak's method of operation have much in common . . . open communication with our customers is one of the most important benefits of doing business with us. If you've visited us at www.tyretrak.com , you know we blend humour into our approach to the repair business. Sure, your vehicle's mechanical condition is serious stuff; there is nothing funny about a bad ball joint. But life is short . . . a little laughter mixed in can't hurt.

Why is Nitrogen better then plain old air?

Well, Nitrogen is a non-flammable dry gas that keeps your tires properly inflated longer than "plain old air." Oxygen leaks out of a tire 3 times faster than nitrogen.
-Proper tire pressure lessens rolling resistance and maximizes fuel efficiency
-proper tire inflation ensures the recommended "contact patch" of your tire is on the road.
-Nitrogen provides more reliable pressure for reduced blowout potential.
It's best to use nitrogen in your tires whenever possible, but if you run into a situation where you can't get it, no problem. Go ahead and "top off" your
tires with air. When you get the chance, head back to the dealer who inflated your tires with nitrogen for a refill. With nitrogen in your tires, your driving experience will be better, safer and less expensive. Ask for it today.
